Goodwin's Virtual Rolodex
Here's what I currently use and recommend for my own business.
First website? You are in the right place. These resources will save you from schemes and scams. Some solution look really good, but turn out to be costly in the end. For instance, I don't recommend any site builder websites.
Of course I cannot make any guaranteees about the success you will have from using these programs. But in my experience, these marketers are honorable and ethical.
If you have a negative experience, let me know immediately. I have removed some names when the marketers changed approaches or when I found better resources. And I continue to add resources as I discover them.
Full disclosure: I do get a commission when you click through most of
these links to make a purchase. You can bypass my links and go directly
to these sites. Your investment will be the same either way.You do not pay extra when you buy through me. When you buy a big-ticket item through me, I almost always offer an extra bonus after the commissoin comes through
Creating your first website?
But you don't have to invest a dime if you're getting started.
Subscribe to a handful of ezines, poke around the websites, and get to
know what's out there.
Think before you invest. Please do your own due diligence before investing. No program works for everyone. Do NOT invest beyond your budget and your comfort zone. Feel free to email me with questions and feedback. I also have an ebook about choosing a mentor: Click here for "Choose a Mentor Who Won't Lead You To The Poorhouse."

From time time I add resources and delete others, for a good reason.
Essential Reading:
If I had to choose just TWO ebooks to buy, here's what I would pick. It's not even a contest.
20
Ways to Make $100 A Day Online. Very realistic. A good (and very affordable) way to get a sense of the possibilities out there. It's not a get rich quick scheme. There's LOTS of work required for some ideas. Lots of tips, tricks and ideas along the way.
Reach Desperate Buyers. If you create products or run a service business, I highly recommend this ebook. It's the single most valuable info product I've purchased, and believe me, have bought a lot. If you follow this format, step-by-step, you will see an increase in sales. More important, you will thoroughly understand the logic behind Internat marketing.
First Website: Help is here
Toolie "The Tech Whiz" Garner has helped many of my clients and I've hired her myself. She's a former Microsoft manager with great attention to detail.
FREE Blog - Well - almost free! You pay for hosting and (if needed) training videos and domain names. Check them out here.
Essential Tools:
Web Hosting: Currently the most recommended and probably the best hosting service is BlueHost. For less than $10 a month you get unlimited domain hosting, outstanding support and easy Wordpress installations.
If you're serious about making money online from your own services or products, you need 1ShoppingCart. Click here. Then look for the "30-Day Trial" box and click.
A Weber Autoresponder services- If you keep your autoresponder and message services separate from your shopping cart, then AWeberis an excellent choice. I don't use them because the shopping cart meets my needs. But many top Internet marketers swear by Aweber because you have greater flexibility for sending messages, along with special services like linking your blog to your mailing list. You may get better delivery rates, too.
If teleseminars are an important part of your marketing, I recommend the Instant Teleseminar system. The monthly fee is relatively smallbut saves hours of time for yourself, your Virtual Assistant, and your web designer. It's becoming very popular among Internet marketers. Learn more here.
Audio Generator. Adding audio to your web pages increases sales. That's been demonstrated over and over. I use AudioGenerator. Yes, it's a monthly fee, but it's much more affordable than hiring someone. And adding audio takes specialized skill. I've gotten great results with this system.
Copywriting Mentor Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero has a great newsletter. If you're serious about copywriting, start with one of her famous boot camps. That's how I learned. Start here.
The One Hour Sales Letter. Jeanette Cates shows you how to write your sales letter in just one hour - before you all the copywriter.
And check these out...
Kendall Summerhawk has some excellent down-to-earth advice about pricing and creating a money mindset. Listen to her calls and see if her style resonates with you.
Alexandria Brown offers high quality events I can also recommend her products which deliver excellent value. . I've purchased many of her products. I met her just once and she's the Real Deal.

Reading
Maria Veloso, Web Copy That Sells. I'm not sure you can use
this book to become a copywriter, but you'll get lots of ideas and a
new appreciation for copywriters. Helpful ideas if you've already taken
a course. Just be aware that everything eventually goes out of date
(sooner rather than later) on the Internet.
Michael Gerber, The E-myth Revisited. Ask almost any business
consultant or coach to recommend a book and you're likely to end up
with this one -- for good reason. Most business owners want to do what
they love: garden, write, coach or make great apple pie. But business
success depends on creating systems that deliver. Tough but true.
